A lot of travelers we know enjoy a holiday in resorts when they were visiting Bali. It’s easy to see why. Resorts offers an uninterrupted vacation and lets you enjoy the whole week doing a whole lot of nothing. It’s the perfect place to spend a holiday if you are not in the mood of exploration especially if you’re just looking for some time off and break from the daily hustles. You can find some of the best resorts in Bali around Benoa, Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Sanur, and Ubud—but the Benoa part is our favourite because of its secluded location.

So here are some useful tips for the best stay experience in a beach resorts in Bali that you can do for your next holiday!

Look for the Right Resorts for You in Bali

Because not all resorts are made equal, you should always do your research before visiting. An all-inclusive package can be a wonderful value, but if you don’t know what you’re receiving for your money, the expenditures can quickly pile up. Seek out destinations that offer true all-inclusive packages. Personally, I opt for a resort that offers a diverse range of activities. It’s equally crucial to pay attention to what happens at night. Do you enjoy dancing beneath the stars? Or would you rather see a Broadway show? Every resort has its own unique set of amenities. What’s more, these activities are frequently included, so you won’t have to pay anything extra out of pocket.

Pack Light—But Also Pack Smart for Your Vacation in Benoa Resorts Bali

You might be tempted to pack a bag with a few bathing suits, tank tops, and shorts, but you’ll need a few more items. Remember to bring some fancier evening attire, such as a sundress or a collared shirt, with you. Don’t forget to bring a sweater for the evenings, as even in tropical climates, it can get a little chilly outside. It’s also a good idea to bring a rain jacket or an umbrella because, as much as we don’t want to think about it, it’s always possible that it will rain.

One of our favorite all-around suggestions may seem obvious, but it’s easy to overlook. If you run out of sunscreen while on vacation, you’ll almost certainly have to pay a premium to replenish it. The resort is well aware that it has a captive audience, thus toiletries such as sunblock will be overcharged. It’s always a good idea to bring more than you think you’ll need. Don’t forget to pack some insect spray while you’re at it! There may be mosquitoes on your resort, and you don’t want to catch dengue fever or worse, malaria on your vacation.

Always Bring Your Version of First Aid Kit

Even if you won’t be doing any risky activities on the Benoa resort, bringing a first aid kit is usually a smart idea. In the very least bring some Advil, Imodium, Pepto, and even Benedryl. In an unknown environment, you could develop an allergic reaction to something. A gastrointestinal disease is the most common ailment at a resort. You’ll feel better without ruining your tropical vacation if you carry Imodium or comparable tummy-settling medications. One of my favorite all-inclusive resort money-saving ideas and hacks is to bring a tiny first-aid kit. Yes, you will be able to purchase these medications at the resort, but they will almost certainly be significantly more expensive than they are at home.

Indulge Yourself in Moderation

Who can resist a glass of cold tropical cocktail when you are staying in Bali resorts? It’s tempting to eat and drink anything that comes your way. However, you’ll only get a stomach pain or become ill, neither of which are appealing possibilities when on vacation. Allow me to be the voice of reason in this situation. Don’t overindulge. Don’t consume too much alcohol. Allow yourself a small amount of indulgence, but do so in moderation. You don’t want to overfill your plate and end up wasting half of it. You also don’t want to spend half of your vacation drowsy from too much sun and drink. Because you’re on vacation, take advantage of everything. But don’t go overboard!

Get Your Spot

Here’s the bitter reality of staying in a popular Bali beach resorts in Benoa. You get up, eat breakfast, and proceed to the pool, only to discover that every single beach chairs and lounges is occupied. Plan ahead of time and arrive first thing in the morning to secure your spot. Wake up, eat a light breakfast, and head to the beach to take your space beneath a the coconut tree for the bes shade. Throughout the day, you can take a break for breakfast, lunch, or a swim. However, don’t be that person that claim their spot for 8 hours but not using it even once!

Get Out from the Resort!

It’s usually a good idea to explore more of the place you’re visiting while you’re there for a relaxed beach vacation. Get out of the resort. View the destination’s natural surroundings or adjacent cities. All-inclusive resorts are massive man-made complexes that rarely reflect the culture of the nation you’re visiting. You’ll learn something new, connect more with the locals, and contribute to the local economy by leaving the resort. There are so many things to do in Bali! Visit temples, see abandoned airplanes, walk in different beaches in each morning and each sunsets, explore the waterfalls, and many more!
